Choosing the right sunscreen for your baby/kid is the first step for safe and fun outdoor activities. You can check the Cosmetic Database from EWG (Environmental Working Group) for the best rated sunscreens (with the safest components). Our pick is the No Fragrance SPF30+ sunblock stick or sunscreen lotion from California Baby.

Avoid: Synthetic fragrance may contain phthalates. Natural fragrances often contain essential oils, we recommend to use sunscreens that are free of essence oils since some of them could be phototoxic (interaction with the sun). Other chemicals to avoid are parabens, oxybenzone, PEGs, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate ..., nano particules (may penetrate deep into the skin).
